Pouches adhere great using these wipes

Absolutely incredible. Before purchasing these, I used skin prep wipes (similar purpose to these), plus a skin tac adhesive, to try and insure an ostomy pouch stayed firmly attached to skin without any leakage.However, since switching to these Carbou Skin Barrier wipes, a separate adhesive is no longer needed to insure leak free attachment of Ostomy Pouches.I simply use baby wipes to clean the area around the Stoma, then apply a Carbou Skin Barrier Wipe to the same area, then apply the Pouch.The Pouch adheres great, even better than it did using a separate adhesive. I've seen full pouches applying a lot of pressure to the outer edges, with zero leakage. I've been shocked at how well these wipes work.In addition, there is no visible residue, and a baby wipe cleans the skin fine after using these wipes.So, I no longer need to use a separate Adhesive, since pouches hold better without it when using these Skin Barrier Wipes. Plus, I no longer need to use an Adhesive Remover for cleanup.If you use Ostomy Pouches, I highly recommend the use of these Carbou Skin Barrier Wipes before applying a Pouch. They allow great, leak free attachment to skin.

I have real sensitive skin and use these before I attach my medical device. When it is time to femove it it comes off easily. However does not affect the way it sticks.

We are using this to help with my husband’s pain patches. This definitely helps, but it doesn’t last the full 7 days of his patch. We use a blow dryer after each step and that has helped it last a little longer. We are also using a Tegaderm patch on top.
